After Netflix finally confirmed that it has renewed Stranger Things this afternoon (August 31), the show’s creators have revealed a few teasers for season two.

The trailer for the series’ sequel actually reveals very little – it’s essentially just a titles sequence with the show’s ominous and much-adored soundtrack playing in the background. However, they did say that there will be a total of four new characters in season 2.

“We don’t know about Eleven”, Ross said. As Ross Duffer explained, “I don’t think we ever thought anthology”.

The most watched Netflix series, “Stranger Things” will have its Season 2. Seeing as Season 1 ended in the winter of 1983, almost a year will have passed for Will Byers and his friends when Season 2 premieres. Netflix hasn’t announced any additional details, but we expect those to begin trickling in as work on season two progresses.

Of course, that likely means we’ll be seeing Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Joyce (Winona Ryder), and Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) again. Millie Bobby Brown, who plays the role of the “Eleven”, a child with psychokinetic gifts, shared an Instagram post with the caption, “Stranger Things Season 2 has been confirmed”. We all knew the smash-hit horror series would return, so the really exciting thing about this news is the accompanying teaser trailer.

“We obviously have this gate to another dimension, which is still very much open in the town of Hawkins”, Ross Duffer said. It will still follow the same characters while adding more mysteries.
