NBA Executives Expect DeMarcus Cousins to Leave Sacramento

Joerger’s Grizzlies teams were always strong on that end of the floor. For one, shifting Cousins to the Bulls will put Gay and Cousins alongside their former Kings teammate Rajon Rondo.

The center has had his fair share of problems on and off the court that have been well documented during his six years in Sacramento. The ex-NBA player contends that trading Cousins will get the Kings draft picks and skilled players, and that the Kings should consider trading the big man this season.

Are the Toronto Raptors and Sacramento Kings trade involving DeMarcus Cousins pushing through? The team would get much younger, a good proposition for a long-term success and the star power to keep the fans interested until this squad gels, making this a win-win for both franchises and a definite worry for the Cavaliers and their chances of capturing another title. For some time now, Sacramento has dealt with the drama between the front office and Cousins. Can they be successful together or is a divorce the only course of action? Cousins asked the players. Cousins isn’t Bryant but he is the best center in the league who can’t seem to get along with the Kings. He’s also in the early stages of his prime at just 26 years old.

On the contrary, there are reports that the Kings and the Wizards deal might happen after January 14, 2017, as Beal recently signed his new contract.

One league executive told Zach Harper of CBS Sports: “They’re fooling themselves if they think he’s sticking around”. There isn’t a point of no return in which you’re not getting high value for him. “Maybe [Cousins] doesn’t go for the biggest money in free agency but you’d love to have that card to play”.

As far as the acting goes, by the way, Cousins is actually really good!
