Instead of the traditional headphone connection, iPhone packages will now come with earphones that fit into the phone’s Lighting port, currently used for charging and data transfer. For $269, the older model will lack numerous features in the new Series 2, but will still come with the Series 2’s faster processor. The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus unveiled Wednesday won’t have an analog headphone jack – a longtime staple in just about every consumer electronics device that can play audio. With a two-tone flash, the camera now has four LEDs, meaning it “puts out 50 percent more light” and “reaches 50 percent further”.

The big news is that iPhone 7 will have two more colour options -jet black, black, besides the silver, gold and rose gold. The iPhone’s most interesting feature can only be found on the iPhone 7 Plus: a dual camera setup, consisting of a wide-angle and telephoto lens. Both cameras take 12 megapixel photos. “But behind it all is the brains of the camera, the image signal processor”, he said. The difference is the wide angle on LG G5 has lower resolution with 8 megapixels.

They do come with quite a few nifty features. It starts with 32GB and will be available in 128GB and 256GB variants as well. Apple is doubling storage in higher-priced models, too – to 128 and 256 gigabytes.
The company will take preorders for iPhone 7 and 7 Plus starting September 9 and it will begin shipping on September 16 in the United States and in 27 other countries. These enable brighter, more detailed photos and videos, says Apple. There’s a new Home app to control appliances.
