Suzuki motorcycles has launched the new limited special edition variants of the Gixxer and Gixxer-SF in India.

The Gixxer SP and Gixxer SF SP feature race inspired graphics with a Gixxer SP emblem.
With FI technology in place, the new version is expected to offer better fuel efficiency and optimal throttle response than the carburetted version which is priced almost Rs 4500 lesser.
Measuring 2,050 mm long, 785 mm in width and 1,030 mm in stature, Suzuki Gixxer has a wheelbase of 1,330 mm and a ground freedom of 160 mm.
Along with these special editions, Suzuki has also launched the Gixxer SF-Fi fuel injected variant which was previously unveiled at the 2016 Auto Expo in February.
Powering the Suzuki Gixxer and the Gixxer SF is a single-cylinder, air-cooled, 155cc engine that comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The bike has a kerb weight of 139kg. Suzuki is reported to introduce its exclusive sports bikes named as ‘Suzuki Gixxer SP and Suzuki Gixxer SF SP in India and their retailing are said to commence from 9th of September.
The Gixxer SP and Gixxer SF SP are available in Matt Fibroin Grey / Glass Sparkle Black (AR4) colour and will cost Rs. 80,726 and Rs. 88,857 respectively (Ex showroom, Delhi).

Mechanical changes are unlikely on the SP Edition of both the naked Gixxer and the fully-faired Gixxer SF models, as they will likely continue to be powered by the same engines as the standard ones. The SP logo can be seen at tank extension in Gixxer and at fairing of the Gixxer SF.
