The iPhone 7 will start at US$649, the same as the previous model, but will offer twice the minimum amount of storage, the Wall Street Journal reports.

From the outside, the new phones are indistinguishable from the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus but, drop them in water and the differences will be very clear, very quickly.
The new models will be available in more than 25 countries starting Sept 16.
The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus gain water resistance in part by losing headphone jacks, making wireless listening mandatory.
On Wednesday afternoon, Apple announced that it will be releasing the new iPhone 7 and it’s coming with some new features. It uses Taptic vibrations instead of a physical click, just like the trackpad on the latest MacBook and MacBook Pro models.

The 12MP camera includes optical image stabilisation on both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, and a larger AE’/1.8 aperture and 6-element lens enable brighter, more detailed photos and videos. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are powered by a new A10 Fusion 64-bit quad core chip, which is 40 percent faster than the A9, and more power efficient, which means the new models have the “best battery life ever” on an iPhone.
