The iPhone 7 will apparently have stereo speakers after all

The new all new iPhone 7 will feature stereo speakers after all, according to a series of tweets, later deleted, by Apple just before the unveiling of the product during the Apple’s iPhone 7 event Wednesday in San Francisco.

Apple customers will need to shell out $1,079 for the 4.7-inch iPhone 7 model with 32GB storage, $1,229 for the 128GB model or $1,379 for the 256GB model.

The iPhone 7 flagship is the same size as the iPhone 6 but it is much lighter than the previous model.

In the recent Apple event, the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus have been introduced. There’s a new 6-element f/1.8 aperture lens with 12-megapixel sensor and quad-LED with True Tone Flash.

The screen is 25 percent brighter now, although there’s no update to the resolution of the Retina display.

The iPhone 7 Plus packs in the widely rumoured dual rear camera setup – one 56mm telephoto lens and the other wide-angle lens. Apple’s marketing chief, Phil Schiller, said that the camera on iPhone 7 Plus is the best ever made on any smartphone in existence today.

While this year’s tweaks, including ditching the traditional 3.5 mm headphone jack and re-imagining the home button, are big ones, it’s expected next year’s iPhone will be the one packing major design changes. Earpods with Lightning connector or Apple’s new wireless earphones, touted as “AirPods”, can be used in the iPhone 7 models.

An endeavor that will cost you $159 if you lose the pair that comes with your iPhone 7.

The new headphones, which can be synced with various Apple devices, will enable five hours of listening time on one charge.

Apple AirPods
