Samsung Galaxy O Series Rumored To Be Launched Soon

The devices in question so far are the SM-G550 and the SM-G600, or the Galaxy O5 and Galaxy O7 as they would be called at launch. Samsung tends to release a number of different Galaxy series of devices a year, like the Galaxy S, Galaxy A, Galaxy Note, Galaxy J, Galaxy E, etc. series.

According to Sam Mobile, insiders who claim to be familiar with Samsung’s operations said that the company is now working on two handsets with the model numbers SM-G600 and SM-G550.

The Samsung Galaxy O5 and Galaxy O7 are reportedly referred internally as “SM-G550” and “SM-G600”, respectively.

The Galaxy O series is expected to be unveiled with a new design that would segregate it from the rest of the smartphones made by Samsung.

The names follow a pattern Samsung started in 2014 of naming its smartphone series after letters of the alphabet.

In addition to the alphabetical monikers, Samsung also has Galaxy Note, Galaxy Xcover, Galaxy Pocket, Galaxy Grand, Galaxy Aces, Galaxy Star, Galaxy Young and Galaxy Core lineup of devices as well. The source didn’t provide any additional info when it comes to these two devices, such as their specs for example, but we’re sure that something will pop up quite soon, as it’s usually the case when this company plans to announce something. Not much else is known, but the most interesting thing here is which price tier these smartphones would land in.
