Following his release by the Gunners at the end of the 2015/16 season the midfielder has been training at London Colney.

Rosicky started his professional career with Sparta before making a move to Borussia Dortmund in January 2001.

Rosicky, who has 105 worldwide caps, sustained a thigh injury during Euro 2016 and has recently been training with the Gunners to regain his fitness.

But despite his persistent injury problems, Rosicky managed to feature in two games for Czech Republic at Euro 2016 before they were eliminated at the group stage. It is always awesome when a player returns to where he more or less began, and I’m certain that both the Sparta faithful and Mr. Rosicky are pleased to reunite. I’m coming here to win.

“I’m starting to train with the team now, which is what I need right now”.

Kretinsky added he wants Rosicky to stay at the club after he retires from playing.
