Earlier, reports of Antar’s death emerged which said that the fearless soldier, who bears a resemblance to Hollywood celebrity Angelina Jolie, had died in a batlle with Daesh.

They have been a key group on the Turkish border which was recently declared cleared of Isis members.
A later post said: “Unfortunately (Asia Ramazan Antar) was martyred a battle against Daesh near Minbiç town”.
The news of her death, however, has not been officially confirmed.
“Heartbroken to read this, what an inspiration this woman was”, added Dee Morrison. “Your battle against Daesh is a symbol to all women around the world”.
Asia Ramazan Antar, 22, was part of the all-female Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) based near the border with Turkey.
The organisation, known by the acronym YPJ, constitutes the all-female brigade of the YPG, which is the armed forces of the Syrian region of Kurdistan, according to The Kurdish Project.
They have played a major role in battling ISIS extremists in the Kurdish areas of Iraq and Syria.

The 22-year-old Kurdish fighter, who joined the YPJ in 2014, was “renowned” for her involvement in numerous battles against the notorious Islamic terror group.
