On Tuesday, ITT blamed the department’s action for why it was closing. ED demanded the LoC increase due to concerns about ITT’s ability to repay money it owed the Department.
ITT operated 130 campuses in 38 states, serving 40,000 students according to the company’s website. Her student loans top $12,000.
