Apple unveils brand new iPhone 7
Apple is out to make a splash with new waterproof iPhones, a smartphone game starring Nintendo’s beloved “Mario” and a push on wireless headphones.

Many longtime Apple users had been complaining on social media about the lack of a headphone jack in the new phones.
The new phone comes with EarPods, which have a Lightning connector instead of your regular, versatile 3.5mm earphone connector.
The new iPhone 7s will be available for preorder starting this Friday and will begin shipping on September 16.
“We are taking the headphones in iPhone 7 and 7 Plus to lightning, and including them in the box with the device”.
Phil Schiller, the company’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing said the company had the “courage to move on” in removing the jack. Apple also made its first chargeable wireless AirPods, which are sold separately and will be launched shortly after the phone.
Apple will also offer wireless ear buds, called AirPods, for $159, coming in October. The AirPods works only with the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch, but the Gear Icon X which is now limited to Android devices will also work with iPhones soon.
You’ll be pleased to hear that Apple confirmed the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will have the best batteries on any iPhone to date (although most of us will still nearly certainly blitz it to death in a matter of months) and for the first time we’ll be getting stereo speakers.
Apple also launched Apple Watch Series 2, the next generation of its popular smartwatch, with features including a water resistance 50 meter rating for swimming, and built-in Global Positioning System so users can now run without an iPhone. Although Apple has brought in a new seamless pairing process, this is just a clever Bluetooth headphones option. You can now use your iPhone with more freedom. If you’d rather use something more substantial than Apple’s EarPod offering, there are a few styles already available.
Its biggest rival is Samsung’s Galaxy range, which outsold the iPhone 6 in United Kingdom stores for the first time this year.
Sales figures for the smart watch are not disclosed by Apple, but surveys show enthusiasm has faded since last year’s release.
While the company sold almost 92 million iPhones in the first six months of this year, that’s about 15 percent fewer than the same period last year. The iPhone 7 Plus’s dual-camera lens means a 10X digital zoom and a 2X optical zoom. You will also get an option of two new colours – Matte Black & Jet Black (glossy) – in addition to Gold, Silver, and Rose Gold.
But wipe away those tears because we’ve compiled your go-to guide for everything you need to know about this shift in the mobile audio world.
Hammersley suffices it to say it’ll be “many more than fingers and toes” so we’ll just assume it keeps growing.

The flagship devices will be sold at around the same price as the models they replace, starting at $649 for the iPhone 7 for USA customers, with deliveries in 25 countries beginning September 16.
