The Giants are coming off a disappointing 2015 campaign, but have made significant improvements over the offseason.

In the meantime, rookie quarterback Dak Prescott will take over for Dallas with veteran Mark Sanchez backing him up. He passed to Dez Bryant, and Bryant was supposed to out of bounds immediately so the clock would stop or go to the ground so the offense could call a timeout. He has 18 penalties and 12 sacks allowed over the last two seasons. Week One will be a significant test for the rookie but all indications point to him being an efficient option at the quarterback position. Having Elliott in the backfield takes some pressure off whoever lines up under center. The young QB had that “It” factor that is hard to describe yet sometimes easy to detect.
“I’ve been watching film for a while”, Prescott said.
The Giants regular season starts on Sunday as well as the Ben McAdoo era. In addition, free safety Darian Thompson from Boise State was selected in the third round and will play a key special teams role when the two teams clash this weekend. For the Cowboys, I felt like they had found their quarterback of the future. This season The Dallas Cowboys start the season with a rookie quarterback as they host the New York Giants in their opener on Sunday.
No team deserves for its best player to suffer what might literally be a career-ending injury in a meaningless game. I’m going to continue to push myself to make myself the best I can each and every day.

As I preach to my fellow Cowboys fans to take things one week at a time, I have a good feeling that with the offensive line Dak will have in front of him and the skill players he will have at his disposal that good things are on the horizon for Dak. Star-studded WR Odell Beckham Jr. will still be the focal point of Dallas’ defense, but there are other weapons to worry about now. The Cardinals are in good hands with either Johnson, but expect David to get the ball more than Chris. He’s seen a lot of different offenses in his life. After racking up 38 sacks between 2012-14, Williams had just five sacks in 909 snaps last season. It happened a little earlier than I expected, and I’m sure there will be some rough patches, but it sure is going to be fun to watch.
