Sony unveils 4K, HDR-capable PlayStation 4 Pro
Microsoft’s PR has already made a statement claiming that the Xbox One Scorpio will be the clearly superior console over the PS4 Pro when it releases.

Here’s everything we know about the consoles so far.
“PlayStation 4 Pro arriving as it does mid-generation means that our target is to take the whole PS4 experience to a new level and to do so without the kind of disruption that moving to new console generation would entail”.
Enriched Visuals, enhances graphical features of the game for a lusher and more realistic experience, in 1080p at 30 fps.
The new PlayStation 4 Pro will be available alongside the original PlayStation console together with a slimmer version which will compete with the newly announced Microsoft Xbox One S.
The PS4 Pro will boast a faster, 8-core processor (its clock speed is now unknown), which will help developers reach 60 fps with their games.
The iconic triangle, circle, cross, and square control buttons of the Playstation can be located at the side of the console and can be used for the vertical stand. While checkboarding is a powerful process, having truly native 4K resolutions would obviously provide a better image. Microsoft says it’s not anxious about Sony’s year headstart with the PS4 Pro, and has promised that its Project Scorpio will have an “obvious” power advantage over its upgraded rival, but it’s been cagey about more specific details. The creator’s vision is just represented in a richer fashion.
Cerny started off by making it clear what the PS4 is not. The key is what it means by “high-fidelity” – in limiting VR to Scorpio, Microsoft may be splitting its player base, but it’s also allowing the console to house more fully featured VR games than its PS4 counterpart.
Sony and Xbox both have their console exclusives, so it may just boil down to the question of whether the PS4 Pro or the Xbox One Scorpio will play the games you want.

According to Cerny, however, those using the “conventional” displays will also get to experience the capacity of the PS4 Pro. The games are playable on both consoles of course. I’m hoping that the three extra years in development have given Sony time to make a smoother, quieter machine. It will likely be hardcore gamers who buy the new console. Do you need another one? No.
