US Open semi-finalist Caroline Wozniacki refused to dampen speculation on Tuesday that she is on the verge of retiring from tennis.

Caroline Wozniacki’s dramatic resurgence continued Tuesday when the former world number one defeated a hobbling Anastasija Sevastova to reach a fourth US Open semi-final.
The 26-year-old Wozniacki refused to knock back her father’s opinion after reaching her first Grand Slam semi-final in two years.
“We are similar in that we are both hard working”.
“It’s always tough to play Roberta. She’s obviously very passionate”, said Wozniacki.
“So what I gather from that is I really could have played better in that second set and maybe had an opportunity to win in straights”.
