Steven Gerrard: Leicester City are “crap”

You can take Steven Gerrard out of Liverpool, but you can’t take Liverpool out of Gerrard, it would seem.

Gerrard was filmed driving a Galaxy supporter as part of a “Ridiculous Soccer Challenge”, with the young fan asking him a host of testing questions about matters on and off the pitch.

Steven Gerrard’s hamstring injury is now keeping him out of the Los Angeles Galaxy’s lineup, but it hasn’t stopped him from taking a lucky young fan for a drive around L.A. – and giving his frank opinion on the reigning Premier League champions.

Very few people wouldn’t include Messi and Ronaldo, who are widely regarded as two of the finest players to ever play the game, among their top three, although a similarly small minority would name Gerrard’s other choice.

Gerrard’s comments were clearly made in jest, and the 36-year-old also made the claim that Galaxy teammate Robbie Keane is among the three best players in the world with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Yes, apparently Robbie Keane is one of the three best players on the planet.

Gerrard asks him: “What about Liverpool?”

Exclaiming ‘they’re crap!’, the midfielder couldn’t believe that the youngster didn’t want to play for Liverpool, or at least one of La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid.
