So he took the matter to social media and all hell broke loose. It took me a minute to realize that none of that matters.

Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston have broken up after three months of dating.

After the split from Taylor, Calvin was linked to singer Tinashe and most recently, Mexican actress and singer Eiza Gonzalez, who was previously spotted locking lips with Liam Hemsworth after his 2013 split from Miley Cyrus.

Speaking to GQ magazine, he said: “It’s very hard when something I consider so personal plays out very publicly”. Just as we got wind of the end of Hiddleswift yesterday, Calvin Harris has now opened up about his “heavily publicised” split from Taylor Swift.

Earlier in the year, Harris had slammed Swift’s publicity team for trying to make it seem as though Harris had withheld a writing credit for Swift on This Is What You Came For.

“Look, the truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together, and we’re very happy”, Hiddleston told The Hollywood Reporter, finally confirming their relationship.

Calvin, who was named as Patron Tequila’s Solo Artist of the Year at GQ’s Men of the year Awards on Tuesday, specifically talked about his infamous Twitter rants in July about Taylor’s involvement with his hit collaboration with Rihanna, “This Is What You Came For“. “I’m not good at being a celebrity”, he said. “She respected my feelings in that sense”, the 32-year-old DJ said.

Harris expressed regret over what he calls a completely “wrong instinct” and “a result of me succumbing to pressure”. I was protecting what I see as my one talent in the world being belittled. “It clearly wasn’t right, so it ended, but all of the stuff that happened afterwards”.
