Gett integrates with Google Maps in the U.S.
Continuing their trend to make information more easily accessible without having to open actual apps, Google announced some new additions to the Google Maps app on both Android and iOS.

This news follows the launch of a new ride-services tab within the Google Maps mobile app back in March, whereby navigators could compare etaxi options alongside their usual public transport, biking, or walking options. The user can tap the Gett auto on the map to open the app. Gett cars are operating in more than 60 cities internationally. This will bring up a list of nearby service partners along with fare estimates and pick-up times. For example, Lyft may also show a Lyft Line ride as an option.
Google announced today that the ride-sharing tab in Google Maps now supports Lyft and Gett in the U.S. Lyft will begin appearing for Google Maps users across the U.S., while Gett will start appearing for folks in New York City.
Now add to that list Lyft, which is available in the U.S., and Gett, which is available in the United Kingdom and New York City.
