On Wednesday afternoon at the PlayStation Meeting in NYC, Sony finally took the wraps off of the PlayStation 4 Pro, which it originally announced back in June.
Guerrilla Games has also shared this awesome GIF as a teaser of just how breathtaking the game is looking on the PS4 Pro.
Cerny said that these improvements are possible due to the fact that PlayStation 4 Pro’s GPU will be twice as strong, and will boost the clock rate of the CPU. The PS4 console will also pair with the PlayStation virtual reality headset set to arrive in October. We didn’t get any super in-depth information on the hardware outside of what we already listed but according to Sony, this should handle higher-resolutions in games. The new design will be lighter, slimmer and more powerful. The unit will cost $299. It doesn’t have a UHD Blu-ray player, 4K streaming video from Netflix and YouTube was only mentioned as a PS4 Pro feature, and HDR was only mentioned in the context of games playing on PS4 Pro.

There’s a minimal hardware usage from this as well, and it’s best taken advantage by connecting a PS4 Pro to a HDR capable television. It showed a comparison of how the new console can improve existing games like Paragon, Shadow of Mordor and For Honor with standard 1080p TVs. Though you can expect it to be available for Rs. 39,990 – the price for which the original PS4 was made available when it launched in the country. More so considering Microsoft’s Project Scorpio is nearly a year away. The company no longer releases XBox sales data, but the PS4 is known to be a better seller than the XBox One.
