Sony has officially announced the PlayStation 4 Pro, the more powerful version of the original PS4 and was previously known as the Neo. (SON.L,SNE) unveiled PlayStation4 Pro (CUH-7000 series) computer entertainment system, which delivers enhanced experiences through improved image processing capability and support for 4K quality images.
“This afternoon I returned to NY for another PlayStation meeting to discuss the evolution of the PlayStation 4 platform and introduce PS4 Pro”. Graphics are still boosted above what a typical PS4 can display, running everything at 1080p and at possibly higher framerates, so we’re still getting the extra fidelity regardless of TV used. The PS4 Slim will launch on September 15 and will run you US$299. Games will also be able to use that technology, another first for a mainstream console.
Today Playstation held a meeting in NY to show off the future of the PlayStation 4.
At long last, Sony revealed its highly anticipated upgraded PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro. If you are looking to pre-order the PlayStation Pro, then go to either Amazon or Gamestop and drop down your hard earned cash and there you go.
The device is set for release on November 10, costing $399 (£349).
The PlayStation 4 Pro comes with a faster processor, a larger 1TB SSD storage and it’s capable of playing 4K resolution games, according to the Wall Street Journal.
If you aren’t yet ready to take the leap to Pro, you may be interested in the other new PS4 model, which is being touted as the ‘new standard’.
