Teddy Bridgewater upbeat about recovery, puts faith in ‘amazing DNA’ to heal

With Teddy Bridgewater’s injury has come a vast variety of reactions, and many still believe the Minnesota Vikings will be fine this season and even still able to contend without their starting quarterback. I watched my mom fight and win against breast cancer. Your thoughts and prayers mean a lot to me and have helped me in this hard time. The team said an MRI revealed a dislocated knee, tears to the ACL and other structural damage. My faith is strong, my faith is unwavering and my vision is clear.

Bridgewater also says the Vikings have “great players and great leaders” who can help the team withstand his loss. It’s more about our feelings for Teddy and him as a person and getting better than it is about anything else.

“We’re not going to stick our heads in the sand, ” Vikings coach Mike Zimmer told reporters.

Hill is no stranger to stepping up in the face of injury, as the veteran replaced Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford in 2010 and Sam Bradford four years later after he tore his ACL with the then-St.

There is little behind Bridgewater on the depth chart. Bridgewater will have surgery in the next few days, and is expected to make a full recovery.

Minnesota Vikings tight end MyCole Pruitt (83) catches a pass and St. Louis Rams linebacker Akeem Ayers (56) tackles him in the third quarter at TCF Bank Stadium.

According to the National Football League, the Vikings will re-sign quarterback Brad Sorensen as a result of the injury, bringing the team’s total to three healthy quarterbacks on the roster along with Shaun Hill and Joel Stave. But he also tried to steer the team’s focus back to the field as the players prepare for their preseason finale against the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night and the season opener at Tennessee on September 11.

“This would just start out the year the way that we have been in the last couple of years just bad luck keeps on rolling with us”, Noble said. On Thursday, Bridgewater released his first statement since suffering the season-ending injury.

“I think the gold jacket put the seal on that one”, he said.
