Earth to Apple: wireless headphones are like a tampon without a string
This year would have been an interesting number to see, as the iPhone 7 is seen as a more incremental update to the iPhone 6s.

The poll, which was conducted in anticipation of Apple’s iPhone 7 launch on Wednesday, also revealed that consumers are becoming less excited about the new iPhone launches, with just one in four iPhone fans planning to tune in to the launch announcement (25%).
Apple is already a step ahead of you there.
Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus feature a design similar to the iPhone 6, but with muted antenna lines, and an all new jet black colour option.
Sales of wireless headphones are soaring after Apple revealed that the latest version of the iPhone will not have a traditional socket for the first time.
This kicks off with Apple Watch compatibility for Pokémon Go, which Niantic announced will go live later this year. They have independent buds, not connected by a wire, like a pair of Bluetooth headsets. In a presentation that denigrated the trusty (and conveniently universal) headphone jack as “ancient” technology, Schiller declared that the change was about something bigger than naked commercialism.
The AirPods will come with a little charging case (they only work for five hours before needing a charge), and have sensors that detect when they are in your ear. They are an accessory that will cost you £159.
Apple iPhone 7 Plus’ camera software now features a 2x button above the shutter button for active switching between the two cameras. Its surface is equally as hard as other anodized Apple products; however, its high shine may show fine micro-abrasions with use.
New devices will come with earphones that connect to the iPhone’s Lightning connection, now used for charging and data transfer.
Apple has reiterated that any liquid damage is not going to be covered under warranty, so whenever possible, keep your iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus away from sources of water, otherwise you could be looking at a very expensive paperweight in the near future. These are designed for use with the iPhone and iPad.
