A brand new film clip has just been released for Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children, starring Samuel L. Jackson as Barron. It’s tantalizing stuff, and we’re hoping Tim Burton’s latest can strike a balance between the whimsical and the fantastical in a few weeks’ time.

Jane Goldman, no stranger to writing adaptations (her credits include the comic book films KICK-ASS, X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, and KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE), wrote the screenplay.

There, he meets Miss Peregrine, played by Eva Green, who has the ability to transform into a peregrine falcon and the children with special abilities known as “peculiars”. The pair first worked together on Dark Shadows and this is their second film project together. Ultimately, Jake discovers that only his own special “peculiarity” can save his new friends.

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children will slide into theaters on September 30th. In addition to Green and Jackson, you can look for familiar faces like Asa Butterfield, Dame Judi Dench, Rupert Everett, Chris O’Dowd, Terence Stamp and Allison Janney.

They live in Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children – a place without fear of persecution and away from danger of the outside world.
