FBI Clinton email search finds Benghazi message
The Republican chairman of the House committee investigating Hillary Clinton’s email practices asked a federal prosecutor Tuesday to determine whether she and others working with her played a role in the deletion of thousands of her emails by a Colorado technology firm overseeing her private computer server in 2015. The FBI was looking for gross negligence in her behavior about securing state secrets.

Both candidates believe they have the upper hand, with Clinton contrasting her experience with Trump’s unpredictability and the Republican arguing that Americans anxious about their safety will be left with more of the same if they elect Obama’s former secretary of state.
She also lost a laptop and multiple Blackberries and other mobile devices that she used to access classified material. “I have yet to see a single foundation email produced by the State Department that was sent by her”.
THE FACTS: While Clinton is correct that none of the emails she sent or received contained headers indicating that information in them had been properly classified, that doesn’t absolve government employees under USA law from protecting information they know or should know was classified. Chaffetz said “Secretary Clinton has fought this every step of the way”. The FBI’s memo shows that the Platte River employee who deleted the documents “did so on his own volition and before the conference call with Clinton’s attorneys”, said Jennifer Werner, a Cummings spokeswoman.
By doing so, Republicans may avoid the charges that they’re twiddling their legislative thumbs and conducting nakedly political witch hunts ― while preserving the talking point that Clinton isn’t trustworthy.
There’s more – like Clinton sending at least 179 memos to longtime friend Sidney Blumenthal, even though President Barack Obama had banned Blumenthal from government. She said she thought the practice went back “200 years”.
The Democratic presidential candidate is due to answer the remaining question which sought on the connection of the Clinton Foundation and the official acts of the State Department.
The FBI said it was later able to find some of the e-mails, but it did not say how many had been deleted or whether they were included in the 60,000 e-mails that Clinton said she had sent and received as secretary of state from 2009 to 2013.
Despite not facing any legal ramifications for her use of a private server, the disclosure of this interview would be very unflattering for Clinton’s campaign. But the criticisms were undercut by the single newly released email, which is a complimentary note to Clinton from another USA diplomat. Some emails Clinton didn’t turn over but were recovered by the Federal Bureau of Investigation from other people’s accounts were work-related. But investigators said their forensic analysis was limited by the FBI’s inability to recover all server equipment and by the lack of complete server log data.
FBI Director James Comey told Congress in July that his agency doesn’t start investigations on activities before Congress unless Congress asks it to, “out of respect for the legislative branch being a separate branch”.

Mills also invoked the attorney-client privilege based on the claim that certain facts she became aware of as Clinton’s chief of staff were off-limits because she had “refreshed her recollection” as to those facts during her time representing Clinton in the private sector.
