Police tell us the truck attempted to pass through a railroad crossing after the arms were already down.

The crash is under investigation by police. A man also was killed.

The intersection is expected to remain closed through the early morning. None of the 90 passengers or crewmembers aboard were injured, and when the scene was clear the train continued on its way. That’s when the truck was hit by an Amtrack train.
