Apple Inc. unveiled the latest iterations of its smart phone, the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, the Apple Watch Series 2, as well as AirPods, the tech giant’s first wireless headphones.

You’ll be pleased to hear that Apple confirmed the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will have the best batteries on any iPhone to date (although most of us will still nearly certainly blitz it to death in a matter of months) and for the first time we’ll be getting stereo speakers.
With the iPhone 7 Plus ($769 for 32GB, sizes up to 256GB), there’s now a reason to choose the bigger phone beyond mere heft. The wireless headphones and removal of the headphone jack will complicate the device for a normal consumer, which goes against the conventional Apple ideology. While Apple has only added this feature now, Sony had it on the first Xperia Z smartphone launched over 4 years ago.
The iPhone 7 will retail at $649 for the 32GB, $749 for 128GB and $849 for 256GB.
Under the hood, Apple now has a new A10 Fusion processor. iPhones always feel fast on the demo table, and this one did too.
The “Plus” edition, launched at the same event, has two cameras, including a telephoto lens. “Most of the current Watch owners are early adopters and the next wave could be 10 times the size of that market”.
So the headphone jack is dead, long live the headphone jack.
Tweets bemoaned the fact that and each charge lasts only five hours stressing that Apple is making people’s lives more complicated.

In past years, investors, analysts, and customers have watched the opening weekend sales number closely to get an idea how the new iPhone was perceived.
