Michigan police department offers to test meth for Zika

Police departments are cracking down on meth users in a comical way..

The Bath Police Department in MI posted on its Facebook page with a big “breaking news” graphic warning that read “meth possibly containing the Zika virus”.

We have read reports online about meth possibly containing the Zika virus! We DO NOT want this to happen to you. According to the department, the post was meant to open a dialogue about addiction.

The department generously added that anyone who had recently purchased meth could bring the drugs to the station and the police would test it for the virus.

A police department in MI shared a tongue-in-cheek post warning residents that some batches of methamphetamine may have been contaminated by the Zika virus.

The post also urged everyone to “Please SHARE so everyone knows” and that safety is their #1 priority.
