Laos supports India’s permanent seat in UNSC
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday departed for Vientiane, Laos, where he will attend the 14th India-Asean Summit and the 11th East Asia Summit.

Thursday’s meeting is said to be the eighth meeting between the two leaders in the last two years.
In his ASEAN-India Summit speech, Modi mentioned that India’s strategic partnership with ASEAN covers security, economic & socio-cultural spheres.
