Zimmer mum on starting QB

That changed a great deal when Minnesota acquired Sam Bradford from the Philadelphia Eagles this past weekend.

Did Philadelphia sell their season with Bradford? That won’t end up happening.

Just like the rest of us, the Tennessee Titans don’t know exactly who will start at quarterback for the Vikings this week.

His mental outlook has remained positive despite the injury hardship. He will miss the entire 2016 National Football League season, and his future past the upcoming season is in doubt.

The Minnesota Vikings won’t have their first round draft pick in 2017. The Vikings had to make this kind of trade because they didn’t want this season to go to waste.

Bradford, the first-overall selection in the 2010 draft by the St. Louis Rams, has thrown for 14,790 career yards, 78 touchdowns, 52 interceptions and has a 81.0 passer rating in his 63 career games, all of which are starts. Bradford will have a lot of pressure on his shoulders, but the Vikings obviously believe that he is capable of leading them to contention.

As for Hill, he’s not really paying attention to what the media has to say about the Vikings’ quarterback situation.

The trade Roseman referenced came in October 2011 when the Cincinnati Bengals sent an unhappy and “retired” Palmer to the Oakland Raiders for a first-round pick in 2012 and a second-round pick in 2013.

An insider close to Bradford’s camp told Adam Schefter of ESPN that the 28-year old QB is furious about the latest development from within the Eagle’s camp. He is being given yet another chance to find the right spot for himself.

“That team started having some quarterback issues when one of them went down”, Matthews said.

Both Hill and Bradford will take turns with the first team this week. It was remarkable he was able to lead the league in rushing despite the fact a lot of runs went nowhere. Minnesota was able to knock them off in Week 17 past year to claim the division championship. Either way, making the playoffs is not likely for the Vikings.

Minnesota Vikings Adrian Peterson, left, and Chad Greenway talk as they warm up for practice in Eden Prairie on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016. The team has yet to name an official starter for Sunday’s season-opening game versus the Tennessee Titans.

The downside of starting Bradford is that he’s only been on the roster for all of four days. The Vikings admitted earlier this week that they still do not know the full extent of Bridgewater’s injury and the amount of time it will take to recover.
