Chinese Company Launches a New Console Crowdfund for the OUYE
The body of the console is nearly identical to that of Sony’s Playstation 4, while its controller appears to be modelled on that of Microsoft’s Xbox One.

Well, one Chinese company is ignoring that and trying to mix up the design of both consoles.
It’s called the OUYE and if you ever wanted a console that looks remarkably like if an Xbox One and PS4 had babies, then this is right up your street.
It’s been a year since EA launched their service EA Access to Xbox One, which let custumors pay an annoual fee to get access to several fairly new AAA games (amongst them EA Sports UFC, Dragon Age: Inquisition and Titanfall). Likely image recognition, the same reason it is using a name that is one vowel different from the Ouya.
Ouye is already being crowdfunded on Chinese site JD.com, where it is hoping to raise around $700k.
Sony and Microsoft must be spitting feathers. Meet the OUYE, the Chinese crowdfunding console that looks exactly like a PS4, and comes with a controller that rips off the Xbox One’s. The price of the console has also been estimated to be around $70, making it extremely affordable.
In a Kotaku report, the Ouye’s creators claim that six months was spent tuning the “unique design”.

According to the latest retail figures from the NPD group posted on GamesIndustry.biz, the Xbox 360 is still leading its more powerful successor in physical game sales, coming behind only the Playstation 4.
