While the plan seems to be to bring the spin-off series to the big screen as soon as 2020, the production company’s apparent desire for Daniel Radcliffe to reprise his role as an older Harry could prove hard.
The answer is of course we could.
Along with releasing “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”, the prequel film in the blockbuster franchise based on J.K. Rowling’s novels, in November, The Daily News is reporting that the studio is thinking about making more “Happy Potter” movies.
The New York Times also reported that the studio has talked about a storyline that focuses on Potter’s son and would be willing to throw in a hefty paycheque to turn the story into a potential new trilogy. For one, the timeline doesn’t make sense. Hell, Fantastic Beasts already has a sequel lined up. Moreover, Radcliffe will only be 31 in the year 2020.
But, here’s the thing… we don’t doubt that there will be talks to bring Cursed Child to cinemas all across the world. In addition, JK Rowling well have said she would write no more stories to the Harry Potter saga, it recently announced the upcoming release of three new books on the website Pottermore! But are the particulars of this rumor to be believed?
Should Daniel Radcliffe reprise his titular role in “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”? It’s certainly not out of the question that The Cursed Child could be the starting point for yet another theatrical journey to Hogwarts.
We know Albus was a bit nervous, but we also know Pappa Potter (aka Harry) was there to help him out with those back to school nerves. For the role will require, however, that Daniel Radcliffe, now aged 27 years to look like a forty …
But that may prove more hard than it seems.
And just when we thought it couldn’t get any more magical than that, New York Daily News reported that the studio is now approaching none other than Daniel Radcliffe for the lead role!

But what do you guys think? Is turning Cursed Child into a movie a good idea?
