George Zimmerman has joined Florida Gun Supply to sell signed and numbered prints of a painting he did of the Stars and Bars with the words in the quadrants “The 2nd / protects / our / 1st”.

Andy Hallinan, the owner of Florida Gun Supply in Inverness, told CBS12 he had details of the merger on his website. Here’s Zimmerman explaining the painting while also thanking the “great, patriotic” people of this nation for donating and helping with his own legal troubles.

Zimmerman’s first painting, of an American flag, sold on eBay for $100,099.99 in 2013, CNN reports.

Zimmerman’s joint venture with Andrew Hallinan comes one month after the latter drew national attention after responding to the Chattanooga Shooting with a video saying, “I will not arm and train those who wish to do harm to my fellow patriots”. In response, the Council on American-Islamic Relations sued.

“The caption, “the 2nd protects the first” is a double entendre”.

“This painting was painted in honour of Andy Hallinan for being a true patriot and leading the country into a better, safer America”, the painting’s advertisement on Mr Hallinan’s website reads.

The proceeds will be split between the two for “legal funds, living expenses and advancing their mission to change the country”, the website says.
