However, Geoff Johns has not said more about the release date of the film Batman, although it would seem that we discovered it in 2018.

Deathstroke as he appears in The CW’s Arrow TV show, played by Manu Bennett. Deathstroke, despite being a formidable foe to DC’s heroes, hasn’t enjoyed the same level of publicity, though he has appeared in televised media, famously as one of the major antagonists in the anime influenced Teen Titans.

Deathstroke’s name is Slade Wilson, who started as a 16-year old kid in the army with great combat abilities and fell in love with his Captain Adeline Kane.

That contradicts The Wrap’s report about Deathstroke playing the main villain in the Batman movie.

For starters, Manganiello is a bit younger than Affleck, meaning the movie Deathstroke won’t be the older man he typically is in the comics. But while audiences will definitely see Manganiello in “Batman”, it is unclear whether or not they will see him make an appearance in “Justice League” as well. The interview indicated that Justice League was already planned to be a lighter film than Batman v Superman, but the pair have “accelerated the story to get to the hope and optimism a little faster”, according to Berg. There were also rumors following the release of the test footage that it was Mangianello behind the mask, seeing as he was apparently in London at the time (the same location Justice League is now filming in).

In the comics, Deathstroke has a military background, making him a skilled fighter who can tap into super abilities like a healing factor, heightened strength, and level of tactical intelligence that might make him a tricky opponent for Batman.

Johns declined to confirm Manganiello’s involvement in Zack Snyder’s upcoming “Justice League” film, which is now in production in London. There’s now no premiere date slated for the new movie, but don’t expect it to hit the big screen any time before 2018.
