Obama and Putin mention trust as being a hinder to Syrian cease-fire

The Republican vice presidential nominee Mike Pence told CNN that it was “inarguable” Putin is a stronger leader to Russian Federation than Obama has been in the United States but “that’s going to change the day that Donald Trump becomes president of the United States of America”.

Speaking to Larry King on RT America, which is an arm of government-funded news outlet Russia Today, Trump said it would “not be appropriate” if Russian forces were looking to influence the race, which is suspected by some investigators and has been fanned by Hillary Clinton’s campaign as recently as Thursday morning.

Obama, at the end of his last presidential trip to Asia, said as president, “You actually have to know what you are talking about and you actually have to have done your homework”.

“You know, when we bind ourselves to a bunch of worldwide norms and rules, it’s not because we have to, it’s because we recognise that, over the long-term, building a strong global order is in our interest”.

“Given the gaps of trust that exist, that’s a tough negotiation”, Obama told reporters at the close of the G-20, “And we’ve haven’t yet closed the gaps in a way where we think it would actually work”.

But the most immediate issue was to defeat all terrorist groups in the region, the Russian leader said.

But the interview – conducted by Larry King on his show Politicking – ended on a unusual note after about 10 minutes, when King asked Trump, “On this immigration issue, what are your feelings about Mexican immigrants? There was scant optimism”. “Mr Lauer found himself besieged.by critics of all political stripes, who accused the anchor of unfairness, sloppiness and even sexism in his handling of the event”.

“This is going to be the world’s largest market”, Mr. Obama said of the 12-nation pact. Vox was among those pointing to a 2002 interview with radio host Howard Stern that contradicts this. “And Obama is coming down a metal staircase”, Trump said in Ohio.

However Clinton and Trump did not come face to face at the forum as they were grilled back-to-back by the anchor.

Trump, Obama said, has “been able to appeal to a certain group of folks who feel left out or are anxious about the rapidity of demographic change, social change, who, in some cases, have very legitimate concerns around the economy and are feeling left behind”.

Mrs Clinton had found herself once again on the defensive during the forum over her private email server.

Erdoğan added that although there was a common agreement on the effectiveness of Turkey’s safe zone proposal in Syria, no concrete steps have been taken, which has further complicated the situation in Syria. Perplexed, he told viewers, “I don’t know what happened there. She did say that”. She said no USA ground combat troops would go to Iraq or Syria.
