The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is coming back! It is to be co-produced by James Lassiter, Caleeb Pinkett and Jada Pinkett-Smith. RumorFix has learned that Will Smith is in the works of producing a Fresh Prince Of Bel Air reunion show!

Details over the remake are being kept under wraps, with another source telling Variety that the project would be a completely new show with different characters.

The popular show, which showcased Smith’s lifestyle clashes with his rich relatives’ bourgeois world as the series’ comedic highlights, ran for six seasons of 148 episodes. The show was about a street-smart West Philadephia teenager who gets into trouble after a fight, and is sent to live with his wealthy uncle and aunt in Bel Air. That is, of course, at least what the rising Hollywood star told the Los Angeles Times during a May 1996 interview.

Will Smith further compared working on the television series to working out in a gym, exercising, and training to prepare for the game like an athlete.
