Former ‘American Idol’ finalist Constantine Maroulis arrested again

According to Steve Mandel, the attorney of Maroulis’ girlfriend, Angelina Reed, the American Idol alum, 39, allegedly violated an order of protection placed against him after an incident at the couple’s home on August 11, and is scheduled to be arrested.

Maroulis was arrested for violating the order because he emailed Reed, which was not allowed.

He’s now out on bail.

Maroulis was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly getting into a physical altercation with Reed at their home in Wyckoff, New Jersey. During the course of the attack she hit him with her fists and threw numerous objects at him.

She accused him of pushing her to the ground and kicking her, and he said it was self-defense after she threw things at him and injured his leg. For the second time in less than a week, he has since been released on bail.

“He has injuries on his upper thigh”. He said the email was not personal, and was not meant for her to receive.

However, Maroulis’ rep released a statement to ET refuting Reed’s claims that the emails were inappropriate.

‘Mr. Maroulis intends to defend himself vigorously, as well as protect his child, both in the court of law and, as necessary, in the court of public opinion and is confident that he will be completely vindicated when the truth is known’.
