Confirmed: Apple iPhone 7 Plus to ship with 3GB RAM
Previous rumors have also suggested that the 4.7-inch iPhone 7 will continue to feature 2GB of RAM, and benchmarks also confirm this.

Unsurprisingly but still annoyingly, Apple decided not to talk about RAM at its Wednesday iPhone launch, instead choosing to focus purely on the new A10 Fusion processor. Here we add a poll to measure how many people among our audience got caught with the fanfare and will make the switch to the new device.
Technically, the A10 Fusion processor that is integrated into the new iPhone models has four cores.
However, as things progress more memory is inevitable and this year’s iPhone 7 Plus model features the most RAM ever plopped inside an iPhone – it features 3GB of RAM. The other two cores are high performance and are created to run 40 percent faster than the A9. It even beats the iPad Pro.
The iPhone 7 Plus is about 33% more powerful than the iPhone 6S Plus, and about 10% faster than the 12.9-inch iPad Pro on multi-core test.
At the same time, it’s worth mentioning that Apple’s spending a lot of time optimizing iOS for better performance, and this is one of the reasons the iPhone has always had less RAM than its Android rivals.
A screenshot showing this iPhone 7 Plus benchmark test follows below. The other two cores are being termed by the company as “high-efficiency cores” and are capable of running at just one-fifth the power of the high-performance cores. Same is the case the with the recent event that they hosted for the launch of the new iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus.
Actually speaking, 3GB RAM is not at all necessary for an iOS loaded phone because of the kind of optimizations used by Apple. At iStore, the iPhone 7 will start at NIS 3,649, and the iPhone 7 Plus will start at NIS 4,249.
According to industry analysts, Apple has increased the RAM to compete with the Android devices which are released with 3GB RAM.

Having said what has been said already, these are more or less wishful changes that the universe of Apple users and tech enthusiasts are banking on.
