Kate teamed the pants with a simple camisole and navy blue Smythe blazer, adding the clutch bag and Monsoon wedges she wore for her first day of the Cornwall tour on Thursday.

Kate Middleton looked incredibly handsome as she joined her husband William for a day of engagements in Truro, Cornwall on Thursday, 1 September.

Kate walks along the line of people hoping to meet her.

Spotting him, smiling William joked: “That’s got to be a bad selfie”. “It took me an awfully long time to work out what I wanted to be”, he said.

“It was more in the distance than with Prince Charles, but it came out clear enough”.

Dad-of-one Sam Wayne, 36, has also revealed the picture he took of Kate was dubbed “terrible” by her husband William.

During the royal tour of Australia in April 2014, Kate wore a Lela Rose white peplum cocktail dress to attend the Governor-General’s Farewell Reception.

The scaffolder posted two selfies with the couple in the background on his Facebook page along with the message: “He’s done it again”.

After William took a sip of the whiskey, he passed the glass to Kate, who downed a good gulp.

Meanwhile, amidst the pregnancy rumours, Kate is set to go on a royal tour with Prince William. After several public outings in late August to promote children’s mental health awareness, Kate Middleton and Prince William stepped out on Thursday for the first day of a two-day trip to Cornwall and Scilly Isles in England.

The Royal couple signed a slate for the Cathedral’s multimillion pound roof appeal, leaving their mark on one of the 60,000 new tiles being used to re-slate the roof.

She said: “Kate didn’t see the baby muttaburrasaurus at first as his colours blended in with my clothes so she had quite a giggle once she realised what I was holding”.

Some people were just too shy to say hello to Kate.

The “mini-tour”, as it is being dubbed, which will involve a surfing stop (and hopefully a surfing photo-op) later on, will continue through tomorrow, as the couple stays overnight in Cornwall this evening.
