PS4 Pro Release Date – What we know so far?
Yesterday’s long-awaited Sony conference in NY finally put to rest months of speculation surrounding the so-called PlayStation 4 Neo – an updated version of the base PS4 console that offers improved performance and support for 4K gaming. The tech company also revealed the details of the upgraded version of the PS4.

The latter, which will be available November 10, will have enough horsepower to support ultra high-resolution 4K gaming! The new PlayStation Pro, much like the Xbox One boasts of support for HDR besides being able to play back 4K videos as well.
The new system is lighter than its predecessor and offers a 500 GB hard drive for storing games and other data. Which means, the PS4 Pro can offer more attractive, detailed graphics compared to the existing PS4.
But it’s the PS4 Pro that’s the big announcement.
An upgraded version of this model of the Xbox, now titled Project Scorpio, was announced in June 2016 and will be released during the holiday season of 2017, according to Xbox.
While that would help make things a little more even, standard PS4 players think that the PS4 Pro players will still have a slight advantage.
Will you be buying a PS4 Pro? “So we have actually got a confirmed case of full native 4K game that will be available for PS4 Pro at launch, which will be The Last of Us Remastered”.
Fortunately, the PS4 Pro will be fully capable of 4K-streaming via Netflix and YouTube, but those with a physical collection are better off with the Xbox One S at the moment.

This thinking apparently extends to Sony’s first-party releases too but once again, whether the patch is free or paid for will vary from game to game.
