Steph Curry says he supports Colin Kaepernick’s National Anthem protest
That’s right, “Old Glory” is displayed in the dry heat of California’s Central Valley at the residence of Rick and Teresa Kaepernick, parents of the San Francisco 49ers quarterback who refuses to stand during the national anthem.

As a black man in today’s society, I believe that Kaepernick is very courageous and I support the movement he is representing. Kaepernick gave his reasoning, saying that he did not want to “stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses Black people and people of color”.
Kaepernick said he plans to continue his protests during the regular season. But in the past 10 days, she’s sold around 10 Kaepernick jerseys at full price.
Then tonight on the first game of the season, the big NFL kickoff, Andra Day took her place at the microphone to sing the national anthem.
“On the other hand, we believe very strongly in patriotism in the NFL”. I personally believe very strongly in that.
US soccer star Megan Rapinoe also took a knee during the national anthem Sunday night before her match, telling American Soccer Now that the stance was a “little nod to Kaepernick”. Other said that the athlete converted to Islam before carrying out the protests. “I’m not against the military or police or America at all”. “But I have great respect for the religion”. “I love people. That’s why I’m doing this. I don’t think anyone should be prosecuted or judged based on what they believe”.
Warriors superstar Steph Curry has weighed in. Marshall will likely discuss his protest after the game.
Kaepernick taking a stand now as opposed to a few years ago is irrelevant and is a clear deflection of the issues he’s talking about. Will we see National Basketball Association players join in the protest, or offer a different type of protest?
Kaepernick on Wednesday said he also would donate his proceeds from his best-selling jersey “back into the communities”.
Kaepernick is aiming to raise awareness for issues such as racial inequality and police brutality. “I will work with both sides to find a solution”. “I have great respect with them”.
He declined to identify who he has met with. Kaepernick said in an Instagram post commenting on the jump in sales. “They’re just nervous about consequences that come with it and a lot of them have families to feed, and I think that’s a tragic situation where players aren’t comfortable speaking what’s really on their mind and what’s right because they’re afraid of consequences that come along with it”, he said.

“I’ve seen that”, when asked about the rumor.
