Forecast: Weekend Weather Looks Nice, But Not Perfect
There are two fronts which bring some clouds and the chance of showers. Water temperatures are cooler than last weekend because Hermine stirred up the water so much. Showers are likely early Saturday with the warm front, and then again at night into early Sunday morning.

High temperatures are expected to plunge from the middle to upper 80s on Saturday to the low to middle 70s F on Sunday from NY to Cincinnati and Cleveland. Temperatures warm into the lower 80s. On Saturday it will be partly sunny and hot, with a high near 92. If showers do occur earlier in the weekend, they won’t last long, but to avoid them, plan outdoor activities for Sunday afternoon. Highs in the 90s will be replaced with highs in the 80s and lower humidity to start the new week.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy and humid with the chance of showers and thunderstorms. With the surge of 90-degree heat possible by the afternoon in parts of CT and especially around the Boston-area, let’s take a look back at some of the record-holders that are in jeopardy. However, keep an eye on the radar in the afternoon and evening for showers developing over western areas.
The humidity won’t be as oppressive as we’ve felt recently, but you will still notice it in the air.
Thunderstorms will erupt along the leading edge of the cooler air from west to east late Saturday into Sunday.
Friday: Mostly sunny. High 76. The sunniest period looks to be Sunday afternoon; skies will be changeable Saturday, so you could see a lot of sunshine at your local beach, but others will have more clouds.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 86.
