Conte hails Hazard as Blues stay ideal

“It’s not hard because Batshuayi is a player of Chelsea and I can decide to put him in [against Burnley] no problem”, he said at a pre-match news conference.

It’s been a frustrating summer for the Blues as they’ve largely struggled to fins a breakthrough in the transfer market, but Conte has told supporters not to rule out movement in the coming days. Like the others, he’s working very well with a great attitude.

“I saw this very quick, his will to work very well, to improve”. Usually when a new manager arrives he brings his method of football and new ideas, and you can have good ideas but it’s also important to have results, so to start in this way is good for me.

As far as betting is concerned, I think we are getting way too short of a price to bet on Chelsea to win so I am going to avoid that play.

Conte’s side has picked up three straight wins to start the overall season, but none of those victories have come easily. After 13 games where we have conceded at home, we didn’t this time and that is very important.

John Terry missed an excellent chance after the break, firing over the bar after Hazard’s shot had been saved by the excellent Tom Heaton, but the respite for Burnley did not last long. “I’m pleased with his commitment and work-rate”.

“In front of the fans it’s always good to score goals, we could have scored more but three isn’t bad”. Even though they have been tight games we are still winning and that is the sign of a good team.

Chelsea supporters will be confident that on current form their side can put forward a Premier League title challenge this season. Ruben has great potential for a young player. But it’s a pity because I wanted to permit him to play, also because he deserves to play.

“There is a massive gulf from where we are as a club and where Chelsea are as a club both on and off the pitch, and that was on show today”. He tries to motivate us and we are giving everything.
