The CW’s Arrow aims to shake things up in Season 5.
Newly-appointed Mayor Oliver Queen finds himself challenged as he fights on two fronts for the future of Star City. This time, she will show what she can do without the help of her father, Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman). The executive producer of “Arrow” added, “She’s a much better chief of staff than Oliver is a mayor, Comic Book reported”.
The first nine episodes of Season 5 of “Arrow” shall focus on Felicity Smoak, played by Emily Bett Rickards, grappling with the deaths of thousands in the Havenrock blast due to a nuclear missile. She was also resurrected from the dead, which had very violent effects on her.
Get your first look at the “Arrow” season 5 premiere! Aside from Oliver Queen facing the demons of his past, his half-sister Thea will likewise be going through a major, life-altering transition, as teased by the show’s executive producer.
Stephen Amell’s Green Arrow not only had to deal with the threat of global nuclear annihilation but also the ups and downs of romance.
Nevertheless, the Flashpoint storyline will be introduced in “Arrow’s” storyline much later in season 5. However, they might do more damage than help Oliver.
