The upgraded smartwatch is set to launch next Friday, but it looks like some models might not arrive until a few weeks after that if you order them online.

The scramble to order an iPhone began at midnight PT, 3 a.m. ET, when Apple and USA carriers opened the doors to their online sales sites. What’s more, the move away from the headphone jack’s analog connection to digital connections represented by Bluetooth and Lightning opens the door for some potentially troubling developments. As such, said Arnold, the industry can expect to see headphones companies more heavily promoting Bluetooth as a way to capitalize on the buzz.
