At the televised forum on Wednesday night, Trump said he was “shocked” by information he got during the briefing.
“I’m not sure anything surprises us anymore”, Clinton said. A spokeswoman for Trump declined to discuss the celebrity businessman’s schedule for the day.
He also cited what he said was a March 25, 2003, interview.

Take the two minor-party candidates out of the equation and the race tightens considerably – a statistical tie of 46 percent for Mr. Trump compared to 45 percent for Mrs. Clinton.
Mr Trump said he felt he could get along with Mr Putin, and was glad to have received a compliment from him.
The Times suggested that Lauer was not up to his task and said moderators of the upcoming presidential debates will need to be “fully prepared to challenge the candidates, so voters can have a clear picture on how they will lead”.
Clinton then noted that Trump talked about his “deep admiration” for Russian President Vladimir Putin at the same forum. It’s the American people, who are once again being asked to decide which liar’s lies are the least consequential. The Republican candidate was widely criticized recently when he called her a “co-founder”, along with Obama, of Islamic State.
Lauer struggled to find a balance in his thirty-minute interviews with Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.
Reflecting on her Christianity, Clinton said Jesus Christ’s greatest command was to love.
Democrats are livid that at a televised forum on national security broadcast live from NY on Wednesday night, Trump appeared to get an easier ride from the NBC moderator, Matt Lauer, than Clinton did.
Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway met with Trump supporters in Congress on Thursday morning, and Trump spoke with the group by phone to thank them for their support.

Trump has repeatedly made favorable statements about Putin, and incorrectly stated that Putin would never invade the Ukraine, even though he did just that in 2014.
