Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, Watford among clubs keen on Arsenal midfielder Wilshere

We reported earlier that AC Milan had interest, but they also evidently are out (or were they ever really in?) so Bournemouth it is.

According to Sky Sports, England midfielder Jack Wilshere is being chased by five teams before the close of the transfer window.

Arsenal have confirmed on their official website that Jack Wilshere has completed a sensational move away from the club on deadline day after securing a season-long loan deal with Bournemouth.

The 24-year-old has made just two substitute appearances this season, and was also left out of the England squad for the World Cup qualifiers this week.

Arsenal are said to have informed Jack Wilshere he can go out on loan.

“We were contacted and asked, ‘would we be interested?’ We said yes and threw our hat in the ring but the player made a decision to go to Bournemouth, I think one of his best mates plays there”.

Wilshere, who is not part of Sam Allardyce’s first England squad, could make his Bournemouth debut after the global break at home to West Brom on September 10. “He needs to be playing, he needs to build up his fitness, and if he can do that I am sure he will still have a big career at Arsenal”.

While a loan move has yet to be agreed, Arsenal are looking into options and are hoping to get a deal done before the end of Wednesday’s transfer deadline.

“A high-profile name, someone who’s regarded as the very best in his position, can only help the players we have”. “I would like to thank everyone at the club for making me feel so welcome”.

“We had a good talk about football, about Bournemouth the place and the football club, thankfully he chose us”, said Howe.

“I’m glad he’s not hiding and that he’s choosing to put himself on show”.
