Simone Zaza won’t take penalties, says West Ham boss Slaven Bilic

The Hornets make their first visit to the London Stadium this weekend and Walter Mazzarri’s side are 10/3 with Betfred for victory.

Payet was at his mercurial best for West Ham during his maiden season in the Barclays Premier League. Unfortunately for Slaven Bilic, the Hammers have only managed one win in three games this season. Again, two tough matches against Arsenal and Chelsea mean that the Hornets have found it hard to replicate their form of last season and seem to be suffering from a case of second season syndrome.

“No, no”, he said, which will be a relief to Hammers fans hoping to see Mark Noble add to his 17 successful penalties.

Payet hasn’t played for West Ham since suffering an injury in the season opener against Chelsea, a game which they lost.

Dimitri Payet is apparently ready for a return to Premier League action.

West Ham co-chairman Gold has stated that the Italy global is fit and raring to go.

“I have just seen Dimitri Payet and he has not played for us since the Chelsea game”, Bilic said at a pre-match news conference.

Head coach Slaven Bilić’s side managed to cut the lead to one point with a goal from midfielder Michail Antonio at the 58th, but Sterling sealed the game with his second goal of the game in stoppage time.

The Premier League is back this weekend after the global break and for West Ham fans in particular, Saturday can’t come soon enough.

The predicted result is a bounce back 2-1 win by West Ham. Given Watford’s poor record against stronger outfits a West Ham victory to nil looks the best bet and, like that Bournemouth result, 1-0 could be on the cards again.
