Trump campaign manager: Obama was born in US
Republican vice presidential candidate Mike Pence on Thursday tried to make the case that Donald Trump is the natural heir to Ronald Reagan and said the same forces that propelled the late president into the White House would secure a GOP victory in November. “The point is, what kind of president has he been?” Matthews asked. “I confirm that and Donald Trump now confirms that”, Giuliani answered.

This assertion came after Trump’s running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence (R), and top advisor, Ben Carson, publicly stated this week that they think Obama was born in Hawaii, throwing cold water on Trump’s pet conspiracy.
The remarks echoed those of Trump surrogate Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor of NY, who went on television late Thursday to assure Americans that Trump now accepts the legitimacy of Obama’s citizenship. The former New York City mayor said Thursday that Trump no longer questions Obama’s citizenship.
Asked why Trump himself has not yet announced his belief that Obama was born in the United States, Conway said “you have to ask him”.
As both CNN and FactCheck.org have reported before, there’s no proof Clinton had anything to do with the claims that Obama wasn’t born in the United States and thus was ineligible to be president.
“I don’t know. I have no idea”.
“America’s choice has never been clearer, I believe”.
“The Pence family has been honored to serve their state and their nation for the past 16 years, while raising three great children and putting them through college”, said Marc Lotter, Pence’s spokesman. “But it took a long time to get it out”, Giuliani said of Obama’s birth certificate and touting that it was Trump who “got him to finally produce the birth certificate”. “But most of America believes that that did not go well for us”.
Trump didn’t just praise Putin, he suggested that Putin was a popular leader in Russian Federation (where a no-vote can get you killed) and a better leader than President Obama. “He’s not been a particularly successful president and that’s what this campaign has been about”.
Candidates are not required to release their tax returns, but if Trump does not disclose them before the election, he would be the first major-party presidential nominee not to do so in four decades.
North Korea Conducts Fifth Nuclear Test, Claims It Has Made Warheads with “Higher Strike Power”: “North Korea defiantly celebrated its fifth nuclear test Friday, claiming that it can now make warheads small enough to fit onto a missile and warning its “enemies” – specifically the United States – that it has the ability to counter any attack”.
“Like my running mate, I’d say first and foremost Ronald Reagan knew his own mind”. “Let me say as I stand in this hallowed place, the American people picked a bold truth-teller in 1980 and I know they’re going to elect a bold truth-teller in 2016”.

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton immediately condemned Trump’s comments, asserting that the real-estate magnate would not hold Putin accountable if Trump became president.
