Teddy Bridgewater makes statement, ‘My goal will not be denied’
The injury was stabilized, and he was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and evaluation. Spielman said it’s important there was no damage to his nerve or artery, and he touched upon running back Adrian Peterson coming back strong from a torn ACL suffered in 2011. Bridgewater will be scheduled for surgery within the next few days. “We all feel awful if it is real significant for Teddy”.

News that Minnesota Vikings quarterback, Teddy Bridgewater, tore his ACL and dislocated his knee has a lot of fans grieving.
Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said he briefly spoke with Bridgewater after the injury and said he told the 23-year-old, “Hang in there”.
During a brief news conference, Zimmer declined to go into specifics of the injury.
The cornerback said he found it overwhelming to see Bridgewater in such high spirits. “Just a freaky deal”.
Bridgewater is young still, and due to the conditioning and shape that most National Football League players are in at this time, he should be able to recover from this injury faster than most. Teddy’s a great kid, and he’ll be back as soon as he possy can, if it is real bad.
“There are some college football players who have comeback from a knee dislocation and had a great career”, Greene said, citing the injury that former Miami Hurricane running back Willis McGahee suffered and then went on to rush for almost 8,500 yards in an 11 year NFL career.
The team released a statement on Bridgewater’s injury on Tuesday but mentioned no plans of acquiring another QB this offseason but that is likely because they only have veteran Shaun Hill and young QB Joel Stave on the QB depth chart. “We worked too hard, our coaches and our scouts, to build this thing and go out and draft guys and develop guys to just give them away for a guy to come in here and may only be here for seven months”. He hit up Charles Johnson for 19 yards, then connected with Stefon Diggs on a deep corner route for 22 yards, then found Kyle Rudolph over the middle for a 27-yard catch-and-run touchdown all in a matter of three plays.

Going into his third season in the NFL, Bridgewater has shown steady improvement under center, which led to the Vikings finishing first in the NFC North with an 11-5 record last season.
