DONALD Trump has heaped praise on Russian strongman Vladimir Putin, saying he is “far more” of a leader than President Barack Obama.

Trump, speaking on Friday at the conservative Value Voters summit in Washington, painted Clinton as a “massive failure” while she was America’s top diplomat from 2009 to early 2013, blaming her for the current turmoil in the Middle East. The GOP foreign policy elite is broadly anti-Russian, which explains why so many major neocons are supporting Hillary Clinton. But she defended her support for USA military intervention to help oust a dictator in Libya, despite the chaotic aftermath. “She’s just too quick to intervene, invade, or to push for regime change”, he said at the summit.

The issue has raised questions about whether she can be trusted to serve as president.

The televised forum, which focused on national security and foreign policy, featured one-on-one interviews with both presidential candidates. Hillary Clinton pledged the withdrawal of USA ground troops from Iraq, that the US would not “put ground troops into Syria”.

‘It’s a war we shouldn’t have been in, number one, ‘ Trump said in the interview. “But once we went in, Larry, we shouldn’t have gotten out the way we got out”.

In 2008, Republican nominee John McCain blasted Russia’s military actions in the country of Georgia and argued he would take a more aggressive approach against the country as president. “Far more than our president has been a leader”.

“He said he was doing it for his podcast, didn’t know it would be on Russian-owned TV”, Conway said on CBS today.

“Under my administration, there will be no pleading for meetings with Vladimir Putin”.

The White House said it had no comment on Trump’s remarks.

In July, Trump said he “would be looking at” the possibility of lifting sanctions against Russian Federation tied to its illegal annexation of Crimea – which the USA government refuses to recognize.

“Look, we have interests that we ought to be able to work with Russian Federation on, no question”. He said any nation that wants to join the United States against ISIS is welcome.

“Typically, I will say, with intelligence briefings they really attempt not to give you a direction”, Corker said.

Clinton was grilled over her handling of classified information while using a private email server during her tenure at the State Department.

“I think one has to be a little careful to let flattery affect one’s judgment”, the Tennessee Republican told CNN’s Jake Tapper on “The Lead”.
