An iPhone 7 adapter that lets you listen music while charging

As we have expanded our distribution through carriers and resellers to hundreds of thousands of locations around the world, we are now at a pointy where we know before taking the first customer pre-order that we will sell out of iPhone 7. But with few expected dramatic changes from previous models, Apple watchers aren’t expecting the kind of big spikes in consumer demand that the company saw two years ago, when it introduced larger screens.

If you said the $19 Lightning-to-USB cable that can charge your iPhone, you would have been right – until Tim Cook made the iPhone 7 announcement Wednesday.

Consumers rushed to their computers early Friday to preorder Apple’s latest iPhone, with select shipments of the smartphone stretching as far back as November.

Despite that shortcoming, I, like many around the USA, chose to upgrade to the iPhone 7.

But if you’ve got an iPhone 6 or 6S, do you really need any of that?

The new dongle supports 48 kHz 24-bit audio output, and allows for remote control and voice cues from Apple’s headphones.

Apple’s AirPods have created quite a social media stir, whether because of how they look or their $160 price tag.

Both accessory-maker Belkin and Apple offer a solution to this problem, but neither provides users with a good experience.

Interestingly, Kuo says the dual-camera array in iPhone 7 Plus only features one OIS module on the wide angle camera side, leaving the telephoto unit with a regular, voice coil motor. According to IDC, the new Black and Jet Black finishes aren’t enough to make users pull out their credit card to hit the “Purchase” button.

Every iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus purchase also includes EarPods (with Lightning Connector), 1x Lightning to USB Cable, 1x 5W USB Power Adapter, and 1x Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter. Whatever you think of these motives, one question remains: How do you charge your phone and listen to music with wired headphones at the same time? Come next year, however, Kuo believes Apple will outfit both modules with OIS VCMs.

The adapter supports 48 kHz 24-bit audio output and remote control and mic support for Apple-made headphones
